Independently funded with private capital as a startup company, Monarch Publications, grew to become an
internationally recognized publisher. At its height the company generated $750,000 in annual revenues and employed a staff
of 3 professionals producing 12 publications per year Invented the pocket “Show Guide” –
a half tourist, half tradeshow-oriented publication – which became indispensable for the international visitor attending
industry events in Germany. The “Show Guide” was designed for use during the day at the Show and in the evening
while in the surrounding city The
“Show Guide” was published for shows in Hannover, Berlin, Munich, Düsseldorf, Cologne, Frankfurt; and Nueremburg
Invented the dual language “USA Pavilion Guide” magazine concept
as a comprehensive business tool for specialized trade buyers visiting the large contingent of American companies participating
in an international trade show
Expanded the “USA Pavilion Directory’s” publication into
seven language editions: English, French, German, Spanish, Japanese, Chinese and Korean
Published “The Real America Guide” in four separate languages
(English, French, German and Italian). The Guide was used to assist European tour operators in their efforts to book tourism
to the four Rocky Mountain states of Wyoming, Idaho, South Dakota, and Montana
Designed, created
and published Association Annual Membership Directories for the Travel Industry Association (TIA) and for the International
Gay & Lesbian Travel Association (IGLTA)
Designed, created
and published the Show Catalogue for Reed Travel Publications’ annual Show, “EIBTM” in Barcelona, Spain

and buying of publications to fit their portfolio

Responsible for all production facets of ACE International, a 4-language consumer electronics publication
with editorial offices in Brussels, film production in Rome, and printing in Milan
Oversaw the sales territories including The Benelux and Scandinavian Countries

Hong Kong, Singapore, and Australia
Launched a new 4-language publication magazine, ECE, in the computer field
